The fingerprint recognition algorithms(one to the open category and the other to the light category) got an excellent result in FVC2004. The results of FVC2004 show that both algorithms ranked the first among those submitted by international academies. The algorithm on the open category ranked the third (EER=2.30%), and the one on the light category ranked the seventh (EER=4.91%).Both two algorithms won 19 medals in all: 5 Golden medals, 7 Silver medals and 7 Bronze medals, which was the most of all international academies.
